Ice can exist for thousands of years and disappear in just seconds. It appears fixed and hard but can change shape according to wind, water and temperature.
These photographs taken during an expedition to South Georgia and the Antarctic Penninsula inspire us to become conscious, reflect, and challenge our perspectives on life, nature and self. They show the transient beauty of ice in a variety of ice formations, shapes and textures. As well as the responsibility we have as human beings to save our planet from the impending doom of climate change.

See Through
In Earth's most remote wilderness, simple patterns of life that co-existed with the natural world now contrast with the radical and climate-changing influences of Man today.
Dramatic pictures of glacier walls, cracking and splitting under inexorable forces of heat and water remind us of how fragile life is and how nothing should be taken for granted. Every one of us is responsible for these impacts and we need to find more sustainable ways of preserving our planet. There is no alternative.
Some images show teeth and sharks inviting us to reflect upon cruelty and power, also the defensive force inherent within each of us that seeks to protect and survive in harsh conditions on a macro and micro scale. Other images evoke skulls and flowing lines consistent with early cave art, leading us to contemplate how "civilisation" has evolved.
